To link your domain name to the quiz you’ll need:

1. Log in to your web hosting account (a place where you have your domain)
2. Get your web host’s name servers (DNS servers)
3. If you already have the names for the domain/subdomain (A-names, AAAA-names, CNAME), delete them.
4. Add a new name for your domain/subdomain:

For a subdomain (e.g. quiz.website.io):

Create a CNAME record for the required subdomain quiz-proxy.marquiz.com

For a top-level domain or a subdomain (e.g. website.io or quiz.website.io):

Create an A-record: 46.4.70.151

Only one record should be used: A-record or CNAME-record.

1. Enter the domain/subdomain without protocol or slash in the “Settings” tab.

An HTTPS certificate will be created automatically.

IMPORTANT: If the certificate wasn’t linked, check for the unnecessary A-records or AAAA-records associated with your domain in DNS settings.

Save the quiz.
